Shift Points at WOT??? What should they be??

I just had my tranny rebuilt by a local shop. Had a CK conv. 2800 installed.
At WOT the 1-2 shift does not want to shift until over 5600 rpm and has no snap to it. Stock tac is pegged out
2-3 and 3-4 are great. I wish I could get the 1-2 shift to snap like 2-3 shift.

I like the convertor. It seems to be perfect for my combo. I took the car back for a 10 day check-up and they adjusted the TV cable and the shifts are too soft.
Can someone help me out with this?

hey tim .it sounds as if the band apply circuit is malfunctioning and there is a slow buildup of oil in the servo .this can be dangerous if it is not crrecte as band burning could result.the wide open throttle 1/2 shift should occur at 5000 to 5200 with a properly adjusted tv cable ,brf vbodt and governor,if not it is a sign of something not doing its job .if youd like have the builder call us and we will try to offer some calibration assistance.www.ckperformance.com
