Shift points too low?

My trans. shifts 1-2 around 5350 rpm at 17 mph and 2-3 around 5600 rpm at 56 mph. Are these shift points too low for my combo (see sig.)? If so, what can I do to increase the shift points? I just leave the car in D and let it shift itself. I don't want to manually shift.

I doubt you will see any gains by shifting it at higher RPM.

those shift points sound pretty decent for that setup.

but to answer your question you could use an Olds KC code valve body in the BRF trans to increase shift points.
