My old shifter cable was toast so I ordered up a new one from Advance auto. Put it in and took the GN for a ride over the weekend with the new Janis tranny. I was all smiles until I got back to the house and tried to shift it back into park. The shifter would not move forward so I applied some pressure and next thing I know it snaps the cable. What the hell? Is there something I missed here or did I just get a bad cable? Getting kind of tired of shifting with the column. Any help is appreciated.
