shifter linkage issue

Hit a pothole on the way home from work tonight. Hit so hard that car is stuck in 1st gear. No leaks at all though....
Shifter moves freely (no selector "clicks").....
Anyone have a schematic or diagram on the cable to transmission, or selector arm??

underneath on the drivers side of the trans pan theres a bracket that the shift cable is secured to with a horse shoe clip. Chances are the clip popped out & the cable came off, Just secure it back on with a tie wrap.

Thanks!!!! I got underneath there and the cable is still attached but it must be broken at diiferent place. I moved that bracket and found all gears ( *clicks* ) but the the shifter goes from P to 1st but not back P......
Replace cable??

Should I be worried about that bracket being bent or out of adjustment inside the tranny??

since that column rotates ( is that stock ?) i am able to drive it.
