Should I upgrade 63E to 45A?

I have a 63E that smokes occasionally, even though it has only 6,000 miles on it. John Craig told me $500 to upgrade to a 45A. I am not sure what PTE would charge me to refresh it. I am ASSuming $300. I have a 3500 stall already. Let me know your thoughts. Car runs great with the 63E BTW.

I would keep the 63 and just send it to John Craig and have him rebuild it. There isnt enough of a difference to convert it.

Are you sure its the turbo thats smoking now and then? Sounds like a motor/tuning issue. I wouldnt spend $500 for the swap, you will not feel the difference.

I am 100% positive it is the turbo.

Get limit to rebuild what you got there, you will be happy with them.
