Well I am in the midst of spring cleaning and I pulled the trans pan to find a filter with no O-ring and then i see a bright shiny tag that says NO-YO-YO reverse fix and some valve body gaskets overhanging that look like they say trans go on them. I am not 100% sure on this. I was just wondering if that reverse fix is something that is usually seen in buick trannys and if anyone can offer some insight into what to look for to find out if any work has been done to the trans...thanks so much!

There is a much easier reverse fix than the "guppy" but some still like to install it. Most of the time those kits work good but I have heard a few complain about 2nd gear starts. I had good luck with them when I used to install them back in the late 80's, early 90's.

Contact Chris at CKPerformance. He's one of the few that is making the parts himself. He'll tell you what you need and explaine it to you as well.
