would the tc or tranny cause the car to shudder when under acceleration. after driving the car hard , i can smell burnt transmission fluid coming from under car, this could be blowby also, that gets on exhaust, and burns. i do not know for sure which one is happening, i do know that my tranny shifts too soft, and sometimes doesnt want to shift at all.

What gear does it shudder in? Sounds like you burned up a clutch pack. Probably direct. If you smell burned fluid you should stop driving the car and drop the pan. It wont get better if you keep driving.
