Silver T-type at the coronado speed festival

Hey did anyone else make it the coronado speed fest.? It the most fun I have had in a long time (with my clothes on that is).

Someone was showing there silver 86' T-type with a stage II motor with a T-76. Really clean car!!! Anyone on here?

If you are in the area next year when the have the speed fest. I would suggest to anyone that likes cars to go. I got to see so many vintage trans am cars races, and got Vic Edelbrock to sign my hat I think that he may be my real dad I also got to see an original 69 boss 302 tag the wall, kinda sad I guess

Yup. That was mine. I park it across from the Ferrari's and get a good group always looking it over. Hopefully it bugs the crap out of the Ferrari snobs.

The Speed Fest is a blast. I go every year.

FYI, a guy named Les with the Shelby Club came to the Bates Nut Farm show with an incredible Boss 302 on a matching Ford cab-over carrier. He really talked it up with the BGNRA president to bring the club to Coronado as a group in the club corral.

I guess a super high-class show like the Speed Fest just isn't up the BGNRA's alley.

That was probably Kean's car.

Wish you'd been able to make it, Don. You'd have had HUGE crowds around you car.

It's a great time, and there are tons of really great cars there. But...what's the big deal about a sh!tload of Ferraris sitting there with their hoods closed, or yet another Shelby or Cobra replica? Not many TR's to be seen, although I was told that there were a couple of GN's there on Saturday.

Mark your calendar for next year, dude!

Last time at the track was a Carlsbad. How many years ago was that?

I'm getting the itch again, though, and may head to Barona sometime after the weather cools down.
