Simple question ( I think :-P )

I am doing a 87 ecm conversion on a 84 T Type. Have the ecm, mat + leads for it, 87 electric fan, LT1 MAF (still looking for a translator), and a thrasher chip. Ordering caspers fan harness for this application. Am I correct in my assumption that this will operate the fan? I read somewhere that you had to "BURN IN" commands to operate the fan. TIA, Kevin

The chip has tables to allow you to tailor when the fan comes on. Hence why when you change to a 160 thermostat this is an issue. Most if not all aftrmarket chips are programmed with a 160 stat in mind.
