Looking for info on why my 84 gn is skipping at speed. Will work fine for awhile and then will suddenly start to skip, usually when under wot but does do it at idle and under regular throttle. Have done the basics with new plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv to no avail. Also getting an intermeditate "check engine soon" light that will come on while travelling, stay on for 15 to 30 seconds and then go out. Have GM service manual but it does not seem to cover intermitent check engine lights at all. I don't have a code reader, any suggestions on a good one?
