We were driving opposite directions and there was no other traffic so I made an illegal U turn to go after him.

Got lined up at a red...just me and him.
His passenger window was down and he was chatting away with his girlfirend...

I heard her saying, "It's nice." and him "Ya...pretty cool."
Could they be talking about the chicken coupe?
I blushed...:redface:

OK...where was I...?
Oh yeah...about to kill me a GTR.:biggrin:

As the light went green, I rolled in and he wasn't biting yet, but he was giving it a little throttle, so before he could get the jump I nailed it.

I broke loose and the back end kicked to the right a tad...as I got it together I look in the driver side view and he was trying to stay with me...from about 2 lengths back....but I was pulling him.

Woohoo!

Now to be fair...I did get a good jump....but...I had to.
He has AWD and the road surface was crappy for traction for me, so I needed to make sure I got the jump or it woulda been me trying to catch him.

But once we were going...he was all in and unable to real me in...he was only watching me get further way a foot at a time...

I'll assume he was stock and a 2010 or older...

Next light I was going left and he was going right. While I sat there waiting for my light, he makes his turn and gets into it. Too late buddy...you just got served.

I think I knew it before he knew it, but he had fair warning before I went WOT because he definitely heard the turbo spooling as I rolled in...

But... in either case....I know I'm quicker than the 2010 or older GTR's once my tires stick....the 2011 I'd prolly have to race at the track to beat...

I think I knew it before he knew it, but he had fair warning before I went WOT because he definitely heard the turbo spooling as I rolled in...

But... in either case....I know I'm quicker than the 2010 or older GTR's once my tires stick....the 2011 I'd prolly have to race at the track to beat...

I would be more worry if it's the 2012 GTR!!! a couple of guys that i know have ran 10's off the show room floor with ZERO MODS!!!!

The 2012 is the one I'm thinking of...bone stock they go 0-60 in less than 3 seconds and 11.2 on the 1/4.

Thought I finally had this guy ready for a rematch last night. I've seen him several times since the above...always going the wrong direction, etc.

Last night I cruised through an intersection and he was there to my left sitting in a left turn lane waiting to turn left in my direction...the only thing left to do was for me to slow down and wait....didn't want him to be left behind....OK I think I milked the left thing long enough....youll be glad now if I just left it alone....so I will...

OK so I slow rolled for awhile until I could see his headlights back there...he was about a 1/4 mile back and making his way forward....finally he was several lengths behind me and he settled into my lane while closing the distance. Not knowing where he was going to go, I went ahead and right signalled to see if he would follow me to a better place.....his right signal starts blinking...yippee...
We make the turn and he stays behind me as I casually move around a minivan.
Still not a good place for us to tangle, so we both cruise along through a few closely positioned traffic lights.

One more red light with someone else sitting there in one of the lanes....I move to the open spot as the GTR stays behind the other car, and I sit back from the line a bit so the GTR can at least come partially alongside. He's gunning his down shifts and then guns it again as he settles to a stop in nuetral.
I look over my shoulder and give him a hang loose sign and he acknowledges so I figure....as soon as we find the sweet spot...this gig is on.

Next light is a T intersection ahead and either direction on the 3 lane road we can turn on is a good place to run this out. Since he was staying left behind this other car, as I prime up the alky and check the vitals I figure he wants to go left up ahead at the T, so as soon as I have the green light, I figure I'll heat my tires up a little before merging over into the double left turn lane. Just as I start to hit it, someone sitting at the light to my right starts honking up a storm probably happy to see a GN and a GTR together, so I rip off a nice long burn out as I get ahead of the other car and then move left as we approach the T. The GTR stays behind the other car which eventually settles into the inner left turn lane while I take the outer and the GTR settles in behind me.

Light turns green and we make the turn, get out in front of the other car and then GTR moves to the left lane as I sit in the middle and slow my roll to about 45mpg (speed limit is 55)....he just sits back there about 2-3 lengths behind me and won't come up and the other car just keeps its distance form both of us (I prolly scared him with my display)...so I slow it down to 35mph...GTR slows down too and still won't come along side....so I picked it back up to 45 and just cruised figuring we'll hit a red and go from a dig then....I'm cool with that....he'll get me off the line but I'm confident after our last encounter that I'll make that up pretty easily.
...he still maintains his position a couple lengths back and just paces me.

After going through a couple intersections and about a mile+, up ahead there is finally a red. Oh Happy Day!!!
I look into my side mirror and hope to see him coming up for the final show down....

That whimp moved to the turn lane into a strip mall just before the light and completely avoided me.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....
