Thanks so much guys!
I loved working on the car and it was especially nice since my 20 year old son was able to help me out with a few things.
I've got some health issues that make it hard for me to be able to wrench on it as much as I'd like, Its a great way to pass to some wrenching knowledge down to my Son.

The two of us took it out for its maiden voyage on Father's Day.
It was the first time that my son had driven the car, and he was smiling from ear to ear.
I forgot how much attention that the car gets,
We were getting thumbs up and horn honks at us. A couple of young girls were giving my son cat-calls hanging out the window of their car!
When we were pulled over to switch drivers, a car went by and banged a U-turn, then pulled over to talk to us,
He wanted to see the car and told us all about his buddy that had one and took a lot of money in street races with it.

Brian (Bison) seems like a really nice guy, he's forgotten more about Turbo Buicks that I will ever know.
He's replacing the fuel lines for me along with some other upgrades.
I'm not sure about the coffee, but he was assembling an engine while were on the phones last !!! ;)

ENJOY!

Off topic but speaking of restorations and rides whatever happened to Project "X-Gray" and that other nice 64 Buick work of art.

Really fantastic thread! Looks like you really took the bull by the horns and have made a tremendous amount of progress. You’re pics of all the old school upgrades really take me back to when they were new. I remember loving the directional wheels back in the day. Car looks incredible! Nice job!

Only updates we did to the front end were swapping out the 30 year old cheap KYB 90/10 front shocks for a set of QA1-R's and removing the KB ram air and intercooler scoop air dam to put the stock air dams back on.

Shocks:

My brother borrowed a trailer from a friend and towed the car up to Bison's with me:

Thanks again for all of the compliments and interest!
ENJOY!

Bison added an external wastegate to my old Kenne Bell coated headers.
He modified the old ATR 3" SS downpipe to vent the low pressure into the exhaust system.

He did a bunch of other drivetrain updates that I didn't capture in pictures, but I have to say that I am extremely happy with all of his work!
His attention to detail is outstanding, everything that he touched looks like it should be on a show car! He's incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of these cars, and he's very easy to talk to. I am so glad that I followed many of the recommendations from this site and took my car up to Bison's Performance, I would recommend him to anyone!!!

He took this picture outside of his shop last week:

ENJOY!!!

Sharing any Dyno numbers at this time? ;)

Sharing any Dyno numbers at this time? ;)
V6sleeper,
No problem with me sharing, its not a Street Racer or competitive track car.

I was hoping/expecting to get a little over 500whp.
Bison over delivered with 614.96whp with the DW300 running out of pump.
He just dropped the tank and replaced with a 525lph pump and bigger gauge hotwire after the Dyno session.

Thanks for your interest, and ENJOY!!!

One of the right places to go for sure. Looks like you can embarrass lot's of new performance street cars now. If I may ask, what psi was that at?

nicely done on a stock shortblock

Sure thing Pronto!!!
Run1 was at ~22psi.
Run5 was at ~30psi.
No coughs, no sputters, no pops on the Dyno or on the 30 minute drive to the Dyno and back!
ENJOY!!!
