Need to order some slicks.......just have a few question(s).

I've used a regular sidewall slick in the past, specifically a M/T 28-10.5x15. I felt the side to side wiggle at the top end. If I go with a stiff sidewall, would it help the side to side feel? Would launch traction suffer? Or stick with the regular and pump them up alittle more?

Did anyone try/compare a Phoenix 28.5-10.5x15 to a M/T 28-10.5x15 slick? If so, how were they?

Thanks

Billy- i believe jack cotton has used both of these slicks-maybe he could chime in or call him-i think he currently runs the phoenix.i only have experience with the 28x9 mts. There is a new set of phoenix in the for sale section -$300.pr

the SSO Mustangs have gone 7.3s on the MT...

Imo

Goodyears are the best--little more $ but last mucho longer and very stable on the top end. They have the stiff sidewall as recommended for our heavy cars.

If your launching with the t-brake...then yes..you need the stiff wall.
