I noticed a small bit of moisture on the up pipe where the injector is inserted. I will first try to tighten it further. If that doesn't work, I plan to use some J-B Weld to seal it.

Do I simply apply the weld around the nozzle on the outside of the up pipe ? Can I do this with the up pipe on the car or should I remove it entirely ?

Have jb weld on mine on the outside of the up pipe and it works perfect, no leaks.

You can do it on the car for sure.

Let it set up a bit and then put it on.

Use a rag or alum. foil under the area to catch drips as gravity will most likely cause a few drips.

Should flow well enough all around the pipe.

I would suggest cleaning the area first with brake clean, then blowing it out well with an air compressor. Should stick then.
It's not too hard to get off later if you need to make changes, just chip away!

I agree with all tha above, and would add that the JB Weld also comes in a putty-like form that works well. As it is setting up just use some water on your finger to smooth it out. It sets up quick, (the putty stuff) so have a jar of water handy when you start.

I use a hammer, and a wood chisel to take it off. The wood chisel has a sharp blade, and will bite in easier.

I've got the JB weld applied now. The instructions say 4 to 6 hours before it sets, and 24 hrs before using whatever you applied it too. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to test it

Thanks for all the great advice !
