Got my transmission rebuilt a couple of years ago by a banned member's shop. he outsourced the job and now I'm having an issue.
Just installed a new 6262 turbo. With all the additional torque and horsepower, the tranny is acting up.
I took the car out for a test drive.
I noticed the transmission is slipping when the car automatically shifts from 2nd to 3rd.
Will the tranny need a complete rebuid or is it something else?

Well it will not get any better.... They can't guaranty you anything as far as hard part damage until they look inside.
There are still some quality builders that stand behind their work. And they will not want to freshen up someone else's build and stand behind it. I really don't blame them. .....

Can anyone recommend a tranny shop that stands behind their work which is located within a couple of hours of Williamsport, PA (north central part of state)?
I guess I join the list of TB owners ripped off by John Perri and ESP Performance!

Cottons Performance not that far away. I just sent transmissions to him so they should be in stock.

Contact Lonnie at Extreme Automatics, great transmissions and a fanatical dedication to customer service.
