slow take off ?

Just wondering what could be wrong with my car ? I have no power @ take off. car will not even burn rubber from a dead stop. I just did a tune up, new plugs, wires, fuel filter. once it gets going it runs fine can even launch @ 5lbs of boost still no power once I take off. No error codes @ all.
mods to my car are.
rjc front mount intercooler
alky inj.
42 1/2 inj
rjc race plate
3" downpipe
4" maf pipe
& I have a thrasher chip.

no error codes popping up. any suggestions will help.

what turbo and convertor are you running?

I have a stock turbo & I believe I have a stock converter. I just purchased a T-63 turbo & atr ss downpipe w/ adj wastegate but hav'nt put them on yet due to the fact tht I will have to get a converter..

Is my car going thru turbo lag ? this is my first GN & I'm still learning so forgive the newbie ?'s

Sounds like the wastegate is stuck open, not allowing the turbo to build boost fast enough. Maybe a cracked header or exhaust leak.

I found an exhaust leak on the downpipe. It has a small crack right where it bends leaving the turbo.. can this also cause knock ?

When do you read knock? At spool up or WOT?

Only @ wide open throttle. as soon as I pass 10lbs of boost I start seeing knock number above 10. But I can sit & stall the car up to around 6lbs of boost & no knock as soon as I take off.. here comes the knock.

Do you have all six fuel injectors clicking ?

Ditto on above! Also check for ANY loose pieces knocking around in the engine compartment. Are you motor mounts still good?

yes motor mounts are good.. How do I check if all injectors are working ?
