I don't think it's stupid. Look at it as a start. Ventures like these are what may give Buick incentive to make something nice.

Why wouldn't they just take the CTS-V Coupe platform and throw in that Direct Inj V6 with a Twin Turbo setup?!?! DONE!

Endless potential there..

I like that idea.

They better do this right or it will flounder....and 4 doors is starting wrong.

Tell ya what tho....those turbo Ecotec engines have some serious power potential.....500+HP aint hard to get to from what I hear....and competition drag cars are already making 1600HP...from a 4 banger...

They will NEVER do the legendary name any justice. The new Regal platform just isn't suitable.

Well, at least nobody will mistake one for a Monte Carlo.

Yeah, 4-door cars suck! They are way too big and there is no way you can make them fast..... unless your a girl....

Looks like Cadillac is heading in the right direction

ATS Coupe is still on track, and we expect the production version to appear later this year at the L.A. Auto Show, or early next year in Detroit. An ATS-V Coupe powered by a turbocharged V-6, delivering somewhere in the region of 400 to 450 bhp, is also likely and could be revealed at the same time.

Now that's a worthy platform to resurrect the Grand National marque. I mean damn, all they'd have to do is rebadge it as a Buick...does it HAVE to come back on the Regal platform just because it did 25 years ago?
