has anyone adapted small block chev roller rockers to fit a grand national? if so whats the trick

For stock heads?

If you are running gn1's you can use the scorpian rockers which are a sbc type rocker.

It would require milling the rocker pedistals off, machining a steel bar to attatch rocker studs to, longer valves (custom) precision measuring, machining, set-up and engineering. At a cost of $2500 (guessing) for a competent machinist to set it all up so you can run Chevy rockers? NEVER worth it. Roller rockers from T&D or Scorpion are the way to go. I know a guy that did similar and he did all the machine work himself. He is an EXTREMELY talented machinsit and it took him a LONG time to get it right. He also installed 1.84 x 1.6 valves, too. Valve centline and angle changes were needed to make it work. Tool steel rocker bar looked like a NASA part. He ended up going with aluminum heads and sold the irons to someone, though I don,t remember who.
