small fire, then replaced harness code 42 and mat 300dg

Maybe i got a wire backward?
the end was cut oft so i had to wire with colors. everything reads correctly that i see
I have the new caspers ecu plug.
only replaced the big plug because of wiring short at plug

It burns out the mat sensor

update i had the o2 tan and the tan mat backward.
I hope that didnt burn anyhing up any ideas?
All reads correct except the 42 code.

code 42 is caused by the EST or BYPASS circuits either open or shorted. (several things all cause code 42)
