SMC Bottle/Pump Assembly in WORKING condition

in need of a pump/bottle assembly for an older SMC kit!! i bought a kit off an idiot on here he says it was in working condition the damn pump dont work.. i installed a walbro ss340 pump ghetto rigged with a fuel line sticking out a provisional hole i made on the tank, going into the upipe line assmebly, works with the walbro i thru in there.. but doesnt hold the correct pressure so im having problems already entered a paypal claim and sent him pm's he dont answer he said the kit was in working condition..

If the pump is not stored in the alchy, it can cause the impeller to stick. Try rotating it and see if it starts to run. Mine did that and I pushed it with my scribe and it hadn't stopped since.

Are you still in need of SMC alky parts? I'm giving E85 a shot and pulled the kit out of the car yesterday. It's the older style with the round Nalgene bottle, non progressive controller. I always kept it full with alky and lube. Never ran meth through it, only denatured alky from the hardware store. The tiny cheap pressure gauge may not work, otherwise I've never had an issue with it. Was working great last fall when I put the car away. I'll take some pics of the kit.
