Anybody know how much the latest SMC pump can flow (at pressure)?

Their website indicates it is capable of 110 PSI but no flow numbers are given...

Flow test it. Not real hard.... all it takes is a pressure regulator.... a pressure gauge... and some hose.... and a graduated bucket... like most people use to wash their car....

Flow it like 30 seconds or a minute.....at the pressure you want to know the flowrate at.... then report back.... if you can't figure the math out from there... I'll help.

I flowed my electric fuel pump in my old hot rod like that.... worked great.... answered alot of questions on how much power I could support.

That' sounds like work;) But I could do it and generate a flow vs. pressure curve for all to enjoy. I have the fittings and stuff I would need. Just need to get a graduated cylinder and a stopwatch. But the question is: is the pump at full power when using the test button on the controller to run the pump?? Harumph!
 
If you have a voltmeter it's best to read the voltage while testing otherwise your results aren't transferrable. :p

It's part of the normal testing procedure. :cool:

Unless it has some funky connections/connectors on the system just use battery power to time it with and monitor that right off the battery. :cool:

Flow it at various voltages and see if it's a linear increase? :)

And use 1 minute minimum, and a good measuring cup, just pour it in from a bucket for measuring.
