The DIY method most likely would be the easiest since you build it yourself and should understand how it works by the time you get it running and in the car.

When 93 was $1.50 I was paying $6/gal for race gas. Now 93 goes up $.50 and race gas goes up $2.50 !! If 93 hits $3/gal, I bet race gas will go up to $12/gal or more since there is alot more refining required on it, especially if "production is low"....gotta love it.
Race gas usually will not follow the pricing trends of general street gas. It has more synthetic components which do not fluctuate with the market. Thats not to say that race gas wont go up , but if it does its usually due to other reasons. You will also find that race gas price hikes are mostly self imposed by the selling party and not manufacturer. There is little to no profit in race gas for the final seller.
