The other day I was driving down the street and I noticed that sometimes when my car sits at idle or at a stop light my car will start smoking out of the exhaust and that lovely burning oil smell accompanies it. But when Im driving down the street it doesnt smoke at all because I had a co-worker drive it for me and there is no smoke at all when driving. Also when Im at a stop, my idle is really irratic and when I drive off it will kind of lag almost like its miising but its not. But when Im up to speed, she drives fine and when I get on the gas she responds very well. Im stumped on this situation and I really need some help on this one because you guys know these cars a little better than me (for now anyways!)
Thanks for any and all help.

could be any number of things, but odds are it's a turbo oil seal...

IF it's the turbo, blue smoke means it's leaking on the intake side, white-ish smoke means it's leaking into the exhaust, and not getting burned in the combustion chamber...

the smoke is whitish color and its definitely not blue. where can I find the seals. And is it best to replace both or just that one?
