I think the news said it was a gray rat snake. That seems right cause I found a snake in my backyard recently and it looked just like that one. I agree that the snake didn't have to be road kill.

Thinking about it coming outta the dash....that's the stuff of nightmares....snake might have to be sacrificed. Of course that would be well after regaining my composure from making a tire shredding panic stop, and bailing from the car shrieking like a little girl!:redface:

It looks to me like they were passing cars in the left lane, so to me, they intended for it to fall off and die. My uncle had the same thing happen, but it was IN the car! He came to a quick stop, opened all of the doors and it slithered out and away.
