Snap-on scanner vs. scanmaster or other scanners???

wanted to know the major difference between the snap on scanner versus scanmaster or other scanners....

i read somewhere that the data stream is different on a snap on vs. a scanmaster...

what are the pros and cons with a snap on scanner, besides price...

Some scanners do data logging and some don't. Logging can be REAL handy.

Any scanner that connects thru the ALDL connector can only sample the info about once a sec. With the edge card connector types like Direct Scan you can sample things at 18x a sec..
For data logging more is better.
