having problem with my gn.last ran when i went thru car wash. wont run now....freddy changed cam sensor and still doesnt start. fuel pump only turns on when i run a hotwire from battery to aeromotive fuel pump.....freddy has no time to go mobile again and i need my gn running.....will pay cash hourly or flat fee.

Check the ECM and see if it is full of water, common problem.

****tttt,you mean the aluminum block under the distributor/6plugs not supposed to be milky???????is that the ecm????ive changed so many parts already and spent $$$$ im sikk....
 
is the ecm that aluminum looking block under the distributer/plugs that has like 6 star screws???????i took off the 6 screws and its milky in there, like white gluey..is this my problem? i feel like a moron asking lol

behind the passenger side kick panel.

No, the ECM is behind the passenger kick panel inside the car. ( to the right and below the glovebox)
 
i have dfi.......i removed the distributer?? where the 6 plugs are buy firewall and theres a bunch of wires then a aluminum block....its milky? is that my problem????
 
I just re-read your first post. Does the car start and run when you hook the hotwire directly to the fuel pump? I'm not familiar with the DFI setups....so my help may come to an end real quick here!

It's been a few years since I had my coilpack off.....but I remember there being some funky gooey crap under there, and that's normal. (I think)
 
Hmm, sounds like whatever failed caused you to loose voltage to the fuel pump and ignition. Could be something with the DFI system, and since I know nothing about it.....I don't know what to tell you to check for.
