I finally finished re-assembling my GN after a complete re-paint on Saturday. I took every panel down to bare metal and put PPG base/clear on it, new weatherstrip/trim/emblems/etc. I even wetsanded and polished the entire car. I had been working on it and off over a period of several years, it was quite a bit more work than I planned on...
So I take it out for the first time on Saturday morning for a brief glorious drive and while I'm driving to my buddy's house I get stuck at a red light and notice the local fire dept. is practicing about a 100 yards away. They are spraying water at a high angle and the wind is blowing it straight back all over the cars in the intersection
I shoot the breeze with my buddy, drive home and it has been raining in Chicago ever since. Tomorrow it is supposed to snow
Hopefully I'll get to drive her again later this week, and I'll post up some pics...
