heh, you know I'd like to pick up some stuff myself. I'll have to find a speed shop. If I do manage to find one I'll let you know.. I'd be willing to ship you some stuff for what I pay + a small finders fee ;)

You know the funny thing about Bride seats is that the "BRIDE BRIDE BRIDE" print on them seems like a ripoff on the early thirdgen camaro seats that used to have "CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO" on them, similar color schemes too. Granted that's just a stylistic observation. The seats are of infinitely better quality than those stock GM POSs.

The scene here is not what you would think. From what I have seen, it looks like the Marines have the fastest cars on the island. I don't think the Okinawans are into performance cars like the Japanese on the main islands. They sure love scooters though and I think they believe that running a 10:1 AFR at all times is good for performance. I get a good lung full of hydrocarbons on every one of my road bike rides.

try UPGARAGE, google it, bomb parts for cheap

those gloves unless you kind of know are super rare, they do have red/blue/black available in mass, I will probably get the black ones. Green drivers race gloves and pink are the super rare ones. because those are the Keiichi Tsuchiya's. Why does this matter, its just to show when his stuff is personalized and remade in limited numbers thats the good n rare stuff.

About the Bride, their now called "Bride of Japan" (change their name due to the fake market lovers and vendor galore sell). And the pattern your talking about is called 'gradation'. And they didn't take Chevy didn't make it either. To maybe put more background to the story, the pattern was also used way before 3rd gen camaro's came out. Porsche used that pattern so did some rare BMW's with RECARO. Recaro is the company that used this pattern main stream first. An example is the Recaro Spectrum fabric'ed seats, some of the rarest recaro's in the world, this is a picture from 1970's. Also before Bride as company was created. I don't know who started it but like I said this should just help give a little history to the idea. these seats cleared 3k online auction with 2 days left, this are the Recaro Spectrum's in the most adjustable version any Recaro seat.

Bride of Japan did use this pattern in seats from the beginning, making it a highlight for their earliest seat, even though it was not originally their idea. Here is a set I used to have from the early 80's from Bride of Japan

Bride of Japan's Brix I is also very rare as its early model too but from the early 90's. This is where you also see the gradation pattern. A good bride brix will run about $400.

Back to Keiichi Tsuchiya's, he's been around for decades in Japan, but to show his value and importance Bride of Japan released a Bride Brix I just for him with NO gradation. Seen here this seat in that condition went for $600 with no rail, and its from the early 90's and also very rare. Most older seats turn blue or purple from the sun, easy fix (redye it, its just cloth).

I like Bride because their stuff is FIA legal, and is the major sponser of JGTC the best CAR related sports race series in history imho. Here is one of my favorite cars in JGTC, the Takata NSX. I also have a takata 4 point of my own, on top of a little collection of Bride of Japan seats.

yea my uncles in the navy always over their tells me all about the local guys with their cars. o well, you have to know the right people to get the good stuff so to speak. I have never been but want to go, not badly, im going to nurburgring first.

cheap solution while driving bikes or riding, tie coffee filters to your face with string. coffee even makes different colors to account for skin pigmentation.
