Soft Pedal

Hey guys. I drove my 87 to town and back the other day and after restarting it I noticed that my brake pedal is now soft. I dont have any lights coming up on the dash. Do these brake systems just take a dump that quick? is there anything I might be able to check?

Is the brake fluid at the right level, check for any leaks, possible pressure switch.

I looked at the fluid the other day when I noticed it and I thought it was fine. Im going right now to get it out of my garage and I'll look at the fluid again. I know the car doesnt have any leaks so I hope its something simple.
