I recently bought my GN and it has a recipt for the car having the trans rebuilt by level 10 within the last 5000 miles. it says on the receipt that a stall converter and shift kit were installed. My question is the trans shifts firm and does not slip at all, but why cant i chirp the tires between shifts like i hear of so many people doing? i dont understand as it is a built tranny and it doens have any other problem. i have played witht he tv cable, but it jujst delayed the shifts. what could be wrong?

Hard shifts good. Chirpping tires... Try a hard tire. Maybe what you are running grip too good. Seriously ... My t type digs in and goes running firestones firehawk SZ50EP 225/60zr15 tires. The only time they chirp is on slippery asphalt. Grip is good. My old hard starting to crack original goodyear eagle chirpped and squeeled in every gear... not good.

im running alomst new bfg 235's in the back, plenty of grip on them. is thi swhy? they will spin on the shift when its wet out.

Grip is good! Sounds like your new meats are doing fine. Pealing and squeeling can get ya a ticket. Grip gets ya gone.
