....Century.

It's funny that as a car-guy, no matter what kind of car I'm selling I'm always sad when they're gone. The new owners are picking it up Sunday. There is absolutely nothing special about the car - the Century is as plain a car as you could possibly imagine. Even the color is boring - white. But it was mine and it was a good car for almost 3 years.

Every time I get in it I wonder why I'm driving this geriatric dull car, but it makes me a little sad to see it go.

I'm replacing it with the absolute polar opposite - an all black Yukon Denali. I need to do some soul searching to find out why I think I need such a vehicle, but it doesn't matter becasue the ball is rolling - it's in the shop now and will be ready in a few weeks (a rebuilt total, as usual).

On the whole he does a good job. The Century was a rebuilt total, too. It was hit hard enough in the front to buckle the a-pillar and roof. The guy did a great job rebuilding it – no wind noise, doors fit perfectly and don’t stick, lines are perfect. The only way you would know is if you start peeling trim back.

I got around trade-in for it, which is what I paid for it so I can't complain. Obviously I divulged the fact that it was a rebuilt total and the new owner is fine with it. Actually they're ecstatic - it's a lot of car for the money.

My dad’s SS is an okay job. The RH ¼ didn’t really come out 100% correct so that’s easy to spot.

The Denali is a hard RH front hit, but since it’s a full-framed truck it didn’t go beyond the fender. A-pillar and door are fine. It is ugly to look at though.

A guy's picking up my Jeep tonight, and my stomach's almost been in knots over selling it, lol. I put alot of $$$ and personal time into the thing.
I'll be able to pay some things off and start my TR search now, but I'm still fairly depressed about it :( . I've had a Jeep ('95, and a '00) in my stable for the last 10 years ! . Just keep telling myself that there are a million of them out there if I want another one in the future (and I do, lol)

Wish I could sell my S-10.
I have it in local want ads for $500-
No Call's :(
I even keep it out near the street at work with signs.
No Call's again

Nobody wants old winter beaters or yard trucks anymore.
