Wasn't the best time in the world to sell a late model GM truck either. Darn GM employee discount makes it pretty cheap to own a new truck...

I bought a 2000 Coachman 240WB (24') class C on a Ford E-350 chassis. It has a V-10 with a massive (and I mean BIG) automatic tranny. Rides like a boat and it much taller than my trailer. I'm looking for a cheap commuter car.

Anybody know where there's a decent Geo Metro laying around for sale? PM me or reply, I'm looking for one that's the same body style as my race car.

I'll miss the truck but should save some significant money on gas. The RV is supposed to get the same 9mpg as my truck got pulling the trailer. It will be fun taking several people on the trip to Nats and other races now. The kids and Mrs. Nashty really like it. It was in Florida so I had to fly down there and then turn around and drive 1400 miles to get it.

I love eBay... I got it for $10,000 under low retail and from shopping around locally, about $15,000 less than what one on the lot would have costed. You can also claim the interest on these as a second home !!! BONUS !!!

This should also eliminate people asking to borrow my truck and trailer to move things. ADDITIONAL BONUS !!!

And if really step on my peepee sometime, I can sleep in the driveway - not in shame on the concrete with a blanket of ants but in a real bed with AC. TRIFECTA BONUS !!!

You sleep on the concrete? :D When I piss off the wife, I at least bumfight it out and tussle with the local winos for the spot behind the safeway: much better cardboard and all the free bread you can eat.
