Hey i was wondering if anyone knows the resistance of the stock wastegate solenoid? When i bought the car it had a an old ans boost controller which was not working for me, I check all the wiring on it, made sure it had a good ground and check the in-line fuse. They all seemed like they were hooked up and in good condition. The thing just would not work! (could have been the solenoid itself, dont really know how to check it.

All im trying to do is bypass everything by putting a resistor in place of the solenoid till i can find a boost controll that i will put on it later! which i would love some inputs on which boost controller everyone likes that is at a decent price! thanks

The solenoid should be around 20 ohms or so, 15-30 would be a safe good reading on a decent digital ohm meter.

If you want to bypass it and fool the chip a 100 ohm resistor 1/2 watt would work nice to simulate it.

cool ill see if i can steal one at work today and let you know how it goes!
