Kinda interesting story here.
My car is a 95Mr2 turbo 22k on the OD
3" cat back, primary cat is not gutted
HKS type intake
Stock clutch
Stock everything else
Running stock boost and car supposively will put 185-190 rwhp down according to KOracing.com
So I'm driving to Atlanta to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. I decide to time my trip so that I go through the ATL at night(atl street racing is dope) As I expect, I get crawled up on by a couple civics, a Lexus IS300, Lexus IS430, a late 90s 911 Cerrara (Which I didn't F*$K with) and finally this 87 Grand national.
His car didn't sound terribly mean, but I know these guys usually have there stuff modded with atleast a boost controller and much of the time they run a descent form of fuel management and can usually push their stock 285hp to over 300RWHP at ease.
So I'm driving by this guy a lane over and I'm prolly doin 90 cuz this shatty looking civic was trying to mess with me. This Grand desides to gun it and catch up with me. I take a look at his back window and it says, "Got Boost" I'm thinkin "Its on, I'm an underdog, but its on" So I pull up to him in 4th gear still doin about 80, give him the thumbs up just reccognizing his car basically, lung forward a bit and then he lunges forward big time. This scurd me a bit. So we even up again, I' still in 4th, I have no idea what he would have been in since his car is an Automatic. He lunges again and then I go. I got a car in my lane like 1/10th mile down the road so I'm like crap. I reacted kinda slow to his lung so I was already behind him. I kept on it and he wasn't realy pulling on me at all. I got in behind and actually started realling him back(slowly) in after my shift into 5th.
We ended up doing this again with the same results. I tried doing the 3 honks, but he obiosly didnt hear it or just didn't understand. The only way I got to see what he had was reacting to his start.
I wish I would have been able to start to actually see if he could gain or beat me.

Taking my stock boost up to 15PSI soon from 11psi. He wont have a chance if there's ever a next time.
