Funny how the good Lord works. Bud was having a issue with his trans and ordered a new Stg 2 from Lonnie at Extreme Automatics.
Got the sucker put in and going through the gears doing a test on jack stands and hit the brakes to stop wheels and pedal goes to the floor and smoke rolls under the hood form brake fluid spraying on the headers.

This GN had took a dip during Katrina and was restored back by my friends brother and either during restore or whenever it looked as though someone accidentally touched a grinder or something sinilar to the hard steel line coming from the Pro valve to the driver side flex brake line and the line ruptured in the center of the abrated area.

No doubt at speed or pulling up too a redlight we would crashed. Car has a Stroker, ported heads, intake, BB72, Roller cam, rockers, etc so its no slouch.

The brakes couldnt even stop the rear tires on the jackstands when they went to the floor.

Told my friend the good lord had the other trans go out for a reason.

Interesting experience no doubt...
Since I am the mechanic and tuner it most likely would have been me getting in the wreck anyways:eek: either way glad we caught it. Another bonus now my bud said the brakes are the best hes every felt. The had a lil air in them.
i guess

Props to Lonnie Another Stage 2 2004r and edge convertor that works flawless dang thing feels like a D5 until you power brake a little
