what would happen if you leave the air temp sensor out of the intake (leave it to the side) how would it effect things?

yes just put together an intake with some4'' spectre parts .and going to sd2 in the near future just didn't want to put a hole in the tube or the coupler just wondering if i can drive it without getting on it.i did drive it yesterday and the thing that stood out that my o2s were low .

I have done that on many GN's and never seen any difference in how it runs.

Once the car is moving down the road the inlet air temp at the filter inlet will be about the same as the air temp under the hood.

With the SD2 chip, the air temp sensor should be in the plenum as this data is very important then vs. the MAF reading that the stock computer uses.
