Sorry, 350 TA ?

Sorry, But looking for TPI 350 answers. i was looking to but a TA with a 350. I of course would lide a TTA but too much $$. How is a 350 TPI TA as a daily driver?

I have had several 350TPI cars. They were Camaros though, but they are pretty much identical to the Pontiacs. My friend has had a few 350TPI GTAs and Formulas. They are very nice cars, fun to drive, reliable, and get great gas mileage if you don't keep your foot in it all the time. They are not as quick as the turbo 6s when you start modding them but they are still fun cars. You can get a nice low mileage stock 350 TPI car for ~$5k. Check out www.thirdgen.org classified section as there are usually a few nice ones for sale.

I have 145k mi one for my every day car. It's no Lexus as far as comfort goes, but it's reliable, easy enough to work on, cruises and handles well. I'm seeing about 25 mpg, but I don't get on it much... it's just not very exhilarating compared to the TTA. Keep in mind, mine's bone stock from the airbox to the tail pipes, which lends alot to it's reliability.
