Spammer or dual membership, we will find your ass!!!

With the new update of the board we've got a few new features that helps us hunt those that have dual memberships like the spammers do. This is a screenshot that I took while hunting spammers and it shows a total of 23 users with the same info, and now they've all gone bye bye.There are some that get banned and think they can get back on by using a different name or IP, but guess what guys, one way or another we will find your asses and shut you down!

How come all the IP's are (almost) the same and all start with 192? I thought 10 and 192 prefixes were reserved for internal systems...

The new system will pull up members by IP and if they match the same IP it means that it's the same system. If 2 of them had posted at the same time there'd be an alert but since they haven't posted yet then we have to hunt them manually.

What's fun is if you ban 1 another may pop up in the notification. That's how the 23 showed up. I got the first one and then the entire list popped up so I had to kill them in other tabs. That way you don't loose any of them.

I had to create an entirely new profile a while back since I could never log on, and I wasn't sure if I was put on vacation or what.
And I couldn't even log in to ask for help - it was a real circle ..$%#@@
I actually liked my old profile, and really didn't want to ditch it..
But I think it was IE that was the issue - since when I started using Chrome on here exclusively, no problems.
So, now I just stick with the new profile.
