The motor in question is a iron headed TSM legal 109. I'm currentally using AC R42ts plugs. At 26+ psi I think it is tring to blow out the plugs. I don't mean out of the head but putting out the fire. What other choices of plugs are their? Is their a better plug I could use? I currentally use the type 1 module with 45000 volt type 2 coils.

What do you have your gap set at? Since Ive up'd the boost in my car this year, I tightened the gap from 32 to 28 and run Autolite 23's

I developed a WOT miss. The plugs had worn and the gap had opened up. I changed the plugs, with the correct gap, and all was well. :)

I just read an article in the latest GSXtra and they said the latest is to use AC R43T or R42T. They said they are better for high boost and less chance of detonation under high load operation. These would have an unextended tip. The article said there was no downside using these plugs. Worth a try. ;)

AC CR43TS plugs in my car gapped at .032"...this is with 25 psi and not a problem
