I have an LQ4 with 4L80E in my 87 Regal. It also has a 75mm turbo. I've always thought 2 heat ranges colder and a .030 gap was good. What are the rest of you guys running for plugs and gap. I'm still running the stock coils and Accel Gen VII DFI. This engine does not seem to like much timing, any advice?

Thanks, Chris.

I have a similar setup in my Buick. I've run up to 15 lbs of boost on mine with an Autolite 103 gapped at .026".

A little more about the combo would help.
What is base timing?
What are you A/F's?
When are you pulling timing and at what rate?
What fuel?

And 0.028", for plug gaps, is a good starting point.
