Just wanted to give a quick thank you to my good buddy Otto.
Otto helped me finally get this 4.1L motor going over the last few weeks.
It is a production 4.1L block, girdled with stock GN crank and rods and Probe forged pistons.
Otto installed my roller cam, Champion aluminum GN1 heads, roller rockers and Champion's intake, plenum and billet fuel rails.
I pulled the old 3.8L out beginning of last week and had the 4.1L running on Friday. Otto came up on Saturday and did some quick base tuning. Out on the road we had a nice experience at a police check point. Pulled up on full slicks and skinnies with no exhaust on the car.
I took the car out on Tuesday night and the transmission didn't like the power. I installed a new band and direct clutches today(I will do a full rebuild with billet components in the near future) along with a new radiator.
Stopped by Otto's on the way home to double check the tune a little bit more. Car is running good!
We hit the dyno on Saturday for some fine tuning and see what kind of power it will make!!! I can't wait! Thanks again Otto!!! -Mat-
