finally had time to install bq trans in my 87 t... swapped out servo from brr4 to bq ..everything is bolted up and ready to go but, i ran into one little problem though...
i cant seem to tighten the speedo cable to the trans...as much as i turn to tighten it, it just turns back and loosens itself. i belive there is some twist in the cable not alowing it to turn and stay...my question is how tight am i suposed to tighten it?? hand tight ??

thnx in advance edgar....

also... was i suposed to swap out the brf governor to the bq or r they both the same??

it sounds like the nut is stuck/rusted to the steel housing of the cable....spray it with some wd-40, let it soak in for a while, then try to hold the steel portion of the cable as close to the nut as you can and then try to turn the nut back and forth until it is free enough to try and turn it completely around.
