I pulled both cables from my Gn and greased them only to find out I still have the wave. The bottom cable from the trans to the powermaster is hard to turn by hand. Is there anything I can do to loosen it up. Does Autozone sell this cable?
Thanks
Sal

I have the speedo wave, too

Replaced the cable with stock about a year ago and have the wave again. Would be interested in an easy fix for it.

The bend in the cable has to be very smooth. If there are any sharp turns the cable makes it will do the "jumpy wavy"
Check how you have it routed, what you might not consider sharp, might be too much for the cable.

might check the jacket for a ding from hitting something in the road?

I had a very hard time finding a replacement cable for mine. I made one out of two cables. I had to go behind the counter at the parts store and match up legnth and connectors, none found, so I made one. ($11 x2)

I was checking out the cable last night and found out where my problem is. As I was inserting the cable in the jacket on the lower cable it got harder to push in at the very last bend before it screwed in to the transmission. I am going to try to bend it a little to fix it.
