Speedometer gear and governor

Hi,

I want to replace my speedometer gear and governor. Are these still available from GM? What color is the speedometer gear and how many teeth? Is the governor the same on US and canadian cars? Are the speedometer cables the same? I have a canadian car with kilometers on the speedometer but want to convert to a 140 mph US speedometer. Thanks.

Speedo gears are based on the rear gear ratio and tire diameter.
Stock GN gears are 10teeth-Gov/Drive gear and 29teeth Bullet,Housing/Driven gear.

The only available drive gear from GM is the 10 tooth drive. You need the orange gear which is becoming increasingly hard to find. I have many governors and few gears
