speedometer gear for 3:73 rear end

could someone tell me if they know the correct speedometer gear part # for my 200R4 trans with new 3:73 gears (from 3:42). Would there be a part # from another GM car that would fit the bill. The speedo is reading about 15% higher than actual speed.

You need a 10 tooth drive and a 30 tooth driven gear. Just ask for the stock speedo gears for an 85-88 Monte Carlo SS.

PS The stock speedo gears for a turbo regal with a 3.42 rear are 11 tooth drive gear (orange) and the 30-tooth driven gear (blue) thus you should be able to get away with changing just your drive gear to a 10 tooth from your current 11 tooth(if you have stock diameter tires (215/65/15, 235/60/15, 275/50/15, etc.)
