Speedometer questions

I have questions I'm thinking about replacing my speedo cable who and where can I buy a stock direct replacement from? Also where can I buy the speedo gear I believe it's the 29 tooth ? Second of all are the 86/87 an 84/85 speedometer cables the same? Does one work for the other viseversa? Thanx guys

any auto parts store will be able to get you the cable you need.. the one i bought from Carquest was under $20 and it looked and fit exactly like stock.

Thanx for the info so the one u bought from carquest was an actual 2 piece upper and lower speedo cable ? Do u happen to remember the length of the speedo cable?
