What would cause my spray on light to not work on the smc kit?
It's still spraying when its suppose to, but the light doesn't come on.

This may sound dumb, but I grounded the under-hood wire to something too small to work (AC removed, so I used one of those brackets) Dunno what was up, but it was a bad ground for sure. The kit still sprayed but the light wouldn't come on. I extended the ground wire and tied it to something more sturdy. Then it worked fine. Maybe the ground worked loose? Hopefully you'll have an easy fix, good luck.

If you have the newer version of the kit, the spray on light will not come on until there is 45 psi of pressure. There is a pressure regulator under the pressure gauge and it can be adjusted out ( or in, can't remember ) with an Allen wrench that will allow the light to come on at lower psi. I had the same problem and talked to Steve himself at the Nat's and told me the procedure. HTH

It was because I had it set to low. I will try to adjust the pressure regulator to get it to light up. Thanks for the help.

Great times there Donnie.

Did you 'lighten up' over the winter?

Havn't seen you post in a while...

TurboTim, I wish I could say I lightened up, but the cars still the same but I've packed on a couple of lbs. I've been wanting to get the car weighed in with me in it ( I'm a svelt:D 275 ), it has to be close to 3750 lbs. Last summer I finally got a good dp and got rid of the stock unported elbow and with no other changes I went from 12.28 ( on alky ) to 11.79 on race fuel with a mild tune. I don't know, maybe I'm finally getting the hang of this! I don't get to go to the track but a few times a year, so I had a longer learning curve than most. Here over the last little while I've been more of a lurker than anything. I have a 2½ year old son that takes most of my time nowdays and I don't get to visit the board as often, but I still chime in every now and again:)
