Time to throw some new springs on one of the cars (Eibach's if that matters) and figured might as well replace the rubber insulators. Sounds simple enough right? Well guess what: the GM people down here are idiots! One looks at me like I have 3 eyes when I tell them I have a 1985 TType with FE3 suspension, and his "partner" just tells me to have my "husband" call them back with some more details. So before I go back there and kick them both in the junk I need to know: Are they still available? If so what are the part #s?

From my vintage Feb 1987 parts book: The front insulator p/n is 15597425 and the rear is 10004110. I don't think the rear number is any good, but may have been superceded.

Hey wh1doll.... since he hasn't piped up, PM this question to Eric Fisher (turbofish38). He's the go-to guy for part # questions. He probably has that one memorized... :tongue:

Simple solution:
Go to the hardware store, get a length of clear plastic hose, slide some on each spring, and call it good.
Works for me, and you don't have to tape them on...

Here are the latest GM part numbers.
Front=15597425
Rear=10247105

Yeah it's getting to point that if you dont have a dealership connection than you're going to have to order your parts through one of the vendors.
