MAn this really sucks i just got my car running right and got the exhuast put back on yesterday and today i was going for a little drive wasnt even beating on it and i turned a corner and this sqeauling started. parked then car at somebodys house called the tow truck brought it home and it now sits in the garage. Man all i wanted to do is put it away for the winter and that happened just wqanted to vent. oh well now i can spend all my money on a rebuild this winter/spring

I don't get the connection between "this squealing started" and a spun bearing----got anymore info?
 
Mine got squeaky when I spun a bearing. If it wasn't accompanied by the rod knock, I would have never suspected a spun bearing. It sounded like a slipping belt.
Funny that it happened to him out of no where though. I did mine in after a hard pull on the highway and it wasn't until I pulled off into a gas station that I noticed the noise.
 
i dunno how it all happened i was just turning a corner and it started squeaking and then there was a knock and that was the end of my driving as soon as all the crazy noises started. no wasnt even beating on it when it happened so who knows maybe its just a sign i need to build it up a lil faster
