Square credit card reader...anyone using it?

I got my setup and using it with my driod x2....im loving it so far.no monthly fees...just a few percent on each transaction....my old cc companys would always lure me with a low rate and then hit me with all the fees....all the complance fees were my favorite....anyway thought i would share.

I've used it a few times for clients - NO Complaints - do yourself a favor and get yourself one of those stylus with the rubber "finger" end so your clients can sign it and actually look like a signature

Yep...the finger sigs and customer reactions are funny...most think the setup is "cool"....ill try a pen...thanks

i had been using til a douche bag named Thurman in Indiana gave me a charge back. other than that used it about 20 other times and worked great. now i got straighten this mess out with square and me getting my parts back. so i dont have my parts or the $145 it was . he better send my parts back or i will give the cops a call like mark hueffman did with the customer that ripped him off

Thats the problem with cc's in general tho.....less problems when deal is in person...ive havent had an issue.but i know ive been lucky...

i dont normally have problems either but once this guy initially started bitching about price and asking about condition on a 25 year old part that he got pics of the complained cause it took a week to recieve it. then once he got the part he want $40 back on a $75 part i told him to send back my parts and buy his parts elsewhere. well its been over 3 weeks and still no parts back

Still pursuing the asshat that got me. He IS going to trial but they are holding my parts for evidence after all. Who knows when I will actually see them back. On top of that someone just hit one of my accounts for a $100 gift card for infant clothes. More dirtbags out there than good guys lately.

Just used my gopayment card today, similar to square but through intuit

We used to use Intuits cc service but the service charges kept piling up even when the service was not used for a month. I began using Square about 2 years ago but my business partner didn't agree since each of us would have to have a smartphone it worked with...yeah intuit was much better cause only he had acess...yeah right. Anyway, sold him the business and now guess what, he uses Square....
Turned the girl on that cuts my hair to it as she had the same complaints on bank cc services. It's all she uses now and loves it.
